Why There Has Been a Delay
Our FIT Protection covers are built by hand, one by one, at our facility here in Phoenix, AZ. Recently, we’ve faced a perfect storm of challenges:
- The Global ban on rare earth minerals by the Governments of the World caused significant delays in receiving the specialized magnets required for assembly.
- The incredible response and demand (over 8000 customers in the last year) to the quality of our product exceeded all expectations and maximized demand.
While we have all the other materials ready to build for covers, magnets are the critical final component that allows us to complete each cover to get it to you.

We Appreciate The Support
I owe Fit protection a HUGE apology. Although they did take 18 weeks to get my cover it really is not their fault. I am sure that has to do with 2 issues. One this is a 2025 and they had not created a template for it yet as well as the issue getting the magnets in. Also it is a HUGE 7 ft by4.5 ft curved cover that is very thick. They did an AWESOME job. Cover turned out perfect. If you are patient to order from a USA company please order from them. It is awesome. Thank you very much. I am now driving with confidence.

What We’re Doing to Fix This
We have over 130,000 magnets currently in transit to ensure this does not happen again. If this ever were to happen in the future, we will now have a large surplus of magnets on hand to keep production running smoothly.
To be as transparent as possible, we will also be posting a photo of our shipment confirmation so you can see that your orders are truly moving forward.
Updated Shipping Timelines
- If you ordered before July 9th, we expect these covers to be shipped between August 20th and September 3rd.
- If you ordered after July 9th & all new orders we expect these covers to be shipped between September 17th and September 30th.
