Defects covered. Proof required.

1-year limited warranty from delivery. Claims are filed only through the form below — with install photos — so we can honor real defects without open-ended free replacements.

What’s covered

1-year limited manufacturer warranty.

Every FIT cover is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of delivery. If a covered defect is confirmed, FIT will repair or replace the cover at our discretion.

  • Stitching & seams — defects in industrial thread or welded seams under normal use
  • Shell structure — delamination or structural failure of the shell that prevents protective use (cosmetic fading/scuffs are not defects)
  • Magnet integrity (Magnetic Series) — magnets that lose function while the cover was installed with interior magnets per the Install Guide
  • LOXX® integrity (All-LOXX® / kit) — fastener failure while bases were bonded and engaged per the Install Guide
  • Perfect-fit promise — if the cover was ordered for the correct year/make/model/trim and still does not fit that listed rig, we rebuild it (ordering errors are not covered)
Road Warrior Bundle = Premium 2-Year Tier. Adding the Road Warrior Bundle at checkout extends the limited warranty to two (2) years from delivery on that order, subject to the same exclusions and claim process on this page.
Boundaries

What’s not covered.

  • Normal wear: rock chips, road debris marks, abrasion, scuffs — the cover is a wear item for glass protection
  • Cosmetic UV fading or discoloration that does not affect protective function
  • Wrong cleaner / high-pressure wash / car-wash brushes / solvents outside care instructions
  • Use without interior magnets installed (Magnetic Series) or without LOXX® bases properly bonded (All-LOXX® / kit)
  • Cover blew off, lost, or missing during highway / tow use without verified correct install photos — this is loss of product, not a materials defect
  • Self-modified covers (cut-outs, straps over the cover, unauthorized holes, third-party hardware except FIT LOXX kit install)
  • Tie-downs, ratchet straps, or ropes placed on/over the cover
  • Severe weather / acts of nature (hail, fire, flood, falling objects, etc.)
  • Incorrect year / make / model / trim selected at checkout
  • Covers that changed ownership (warranty is non-transferable)
  • Orders delivered before August 1, 2025 — outside the 1-year warranty window as of this policy; see goodwill / repurchase options below
Magnetic Series vs highway. Mag covers require interior magnets installed per the Install Guide. Sustained highway / tow retention is what All-LOXX® is for. A “blew off on the highway” Mag claim without install proof is not a warranty defect.
Fair, not unlimited

Goodwill & out-of-warranty options.

We want to do right by customers — without becoming an open replacement program. Proof is required either way.

In warranty (≤ 1 year from delivery)

Confirmed defect with complete claim form + photos → repair or replace at FIT’s discretion.

One goodwill remake

At FIT’s discretion, one goodwill remake per original order/household may be offered when photos prove install + same vehicle. Not guaranteed.

After goodwill / out of warranty

50% off a paid remake of the same cover, or 50% off a LOXX® Retention Kit — your choice. No further free remakes.

Before Aug 1, 2025 deliveries

Outside the 1-year warranty. We may offer the same 50% off remake or 50% off LOXX kit after a completed claim form with photos. Not a free replacement entitlement.

How claims work

No casual email claims.

All warranty and goodwill requests must be submitted through the claim form below. Incomplete forms (missing install proof or vehicle photos) are closed. We aim to reply in 1–2 business days.

Photos must show: (1) interior magnets on glass or LOXX bases installed, (2) vehicle identity (year/make/model visible — data plate, badge, or clear full-vehicle shot matching the order), (3) full cover, (4) close-up of the issue. This protects honest customers and stops free covers for a different trailer.

Claim intake

File a warranty / goodwill claim.

Required fields marked *. Upload clear photos or short video. Submissions go to info@fitprotection.com with your answers and files attached.

Used to check 1-year window (and Aug 1, 2025 cutoff).
Clear, well-lit. Phone photos are fine. Video optional but helpful.
