You attach magnets on the inside of the glass so they pair up with the magnets built into the cover — that's what holds it in place. You can leave those inside magnets permanently attached (the standard setup), or upgrade to our Removable Magnet Technology so you can take the inside magnets on and off whenever you want.

No. We use 250-lb pull-force N52 neodymium rare-earth magnets — eight on a UTV cover, sixteen to twenty on an RV — mirrored by steel-backed inside magnets you attach permanently to the inside of the glass. That's 850–3,000+ lb of static pull depending on the model. On top of that, airflow at highway speed creates dynamic pressure that pushes the cover into the glass, not off it. Tested and held at 75 mph in crosswinds.
