Your windshield didn't crack on the trail. It cracked on the way there.
Most UTV owners armor the cage, the A-arms and the skid plate — then tow $500+ of glass down the interstate completely bare.

Ask anyone who's replaced a UTV windshield what broke it, and you'll hear the same answer more often than you'd expect: a rock off a semi tire, at 70 mph, on the trailer.
It makes sense once you think about it. On the trail you're doing 15–25 mph and the debris is coming off your own tires at an angle. On the highway you're doing 70, into a headwind, behind traffic that's throwing gravel at you like it's being paid to. A polycarbonate windshield that shrugs off a full day in the rocks can get sandblasted into a hazy, scratched mess on a single haul to the dunes.
Polycarbonate doesn't chip like glass. It scratches — and once it hazes, there is no buffing it back. You replace it.
The number nobody budgets for
A replacement windshield for a current Can-Am, Polaris, Honda or CFMoto machine typically runs $500 or more — and that's before you get into wiper-and-washer glass, which is substantially worse. Owners who run a factory wiper setup are often looking at a four-figure part.
And the failure is almost never dramatic. It's cumulative. Three trailered trips, a dusty tow road, one highway rock, and the glare at sunset is suddenly bad enough that you're squinting through it.
Why the usual fixes don't hold
Most people try something before they buy a real cover. Here's how those go:
- A moving blanket and bungees. It flaps. Flapping is abrasion — you've now built a machine for scratching the exact surface you were protecting.
- A full machine cover. Fine for storage, miserable on a trailer. At highway speed they balloon, chafe the paint and wear through at the corners.
- Nothing, plus hope. Statistically the most popular option, and the reason the windshield aftermarket is as big as it is.
The problem with all three is the same: they aren't attached to anything. Anything that only rests against the glass will move, and anything that moves will sand it.
What FIT does differently
A FIT cover is cut to one specific windshield — your make, model, year and trim — and it anchors mechanically instead of just lying on top.
LOXX® fasteners
LOXX has been fastening military, aerospace and marine hardware for roughly a century. FIT is its exclusive North American cover partner. On a UTV cover, four to six fasteners go at the load-bearing points and lock down — a mechanical connection that doesn't care how hard the wind is pulling. In our own hold testing, a single fastener carries a 300 lb load.
N52 magnetic alignment grid
The Magnetic Series uses a grid of N52 magnets with roughly 850 lb of combined pull. It aligns itself the second you bring it near the glass, and it comes on and off in under a minute — which matters a lot more than people expect when it's 110° and you've already loaded the trailer.
Which one should you actually buy?
This is the only real decision, and we'd rather you get it right than buy up.
Magnetic Series
- ~850 lb combined magnetic pull
- On and off in under a minute
- Best if the machine mostly rides in a toy hauler or lives in the garage
- Includes free Removable Mag Pads ($39 value)
All-LOXX®
- 1,800+ lb mechanical hold
- Doesn't rely on magnetic pull at all
- Buy this one if you tow open or run interstate miles
- No upcharge over the Magnetic Series
If your machine is trailered open at highway speed, buy All-LOXX. If it lives in an enclosed hauler or a garage and you want it off in seconds at camp, the Magnetic Series is the better daily experience. Both are cut to the same pattern and carry the same warranty.

Quality material and easy to install. I had it on for a 150 mile trip the following day after I installed the mounting hardware. Worked as advertised.
I just got my new cover for the windshield, went on with no problem, was a great fit. Went on a trip to the UP the next day and it stayed on like a glove.
My custom RZR Pro R BentMetal windshield cover was constructed perfectly to the dimensions I provided. Very easy to install and looks great! I am sure it will provide years of service protecting my very expensive wiper/washer SxS windshield.
Totally Awesome!!! You can actually feel the protection in the materials.
Quick delivery. Installation was fairly simple in the Texas heat. Looks great, attach points are solid, and I anticipate no problems. I'm about to make a 1200-mile trailered drive.
Awesome product, easy installation.

Common questions
Will it fit my exact machine?+
Every cover is cut for a specific windshield by make, model, year and trim. If your machine runs an aftermarket windshield — very common on RZRs — a stock cover won't fit it, because it was cut for the factory glass.
In that case use the custom-cut option: you send your measurements, we cut to them, same 5-day build and the same free kit.
How long does installation take?+
The one-time fastener install takes most people 20–40 minutes and is best done in the shade — the bonding agent needs time to cure. After that, the cover itself goes on and off in under a minute.
Full step-by-step video and instructions are on the install guide.
What if it doesn't fit right?+
Contact us before you install the hardware. Covers are covered under our warranty against defects, and our return policy explains the process for everything else.
Do you make one for my rig?+
We build for Can-Am, Polaris, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, CFMoto and Jeep. If yours isn't listed, the custom-cut option covers anything with a windshield.
