Installation

Magnetic install. Tool-free.

Our magnetic windshield protection system is designed for quick and easy installation. Follow the four steps below to get your cover dialed in. For full video walk-throughs, see our install guide.

Step 1

Clean & position the cover (outside)

Wipe down the glass for best adhesion. With the logo facing outward, hold the cover against the glass. Keep the red protective film on the tape for now — this step is just for alignment.

⚠ Easier with two people. If working solo, use tape to hold the cover in place while you move inside.

Step 2

Attach the magnets (inside)

From inside the vehicle, locate the glow-in-the-dark stickers on the cover. Align the second set of magnets with the stickers to lock the cover against the glass.

⚠ Magnets have a 250-lb pull force. Use the provided rings to slide them apart safely.

Step 3

Fine-tune the fit (outside)

Return outside and make small adjustments to ensure the cover fully overlaps the glass edges. The fit may not curve perfectly at first — over time, driving wind pressure will help it settle flush.

Step 4

Secure the cover permanently

Once aligned, go inside and peel the red protective film from the double-sided tape. Press firmly, magnet by magnet, until all are secured.

Will it hold at highway speed?+
Yes. The N52 rare-earth magnets generate over 800 lbs of combined pull force, and the cover is designed to use dynamic pressure from forward motion to seat tighter. We've tested at sustained 80mph, in crosswinds, and in rain without slip.

Warranty+
1-year manufacturer warranty covers defects in materials and stitching. Extendable to 2 years with the Road Warrior Bundle. Warranty requires that the interior magnets be installed per the included instructions — unsecured covers are not covered.

Every cover is built to order in 5–7 business days. Shipping is 4–7 business days via UPS Ground (free on every US order). The Road Warrior Bundle includes expedited build & shipping — your cover ships within 48 hours.
Care & maintenance+
Wipe down with a damp cloth as needed. For tougher grime, use our FIT Vinyl Cleaner Kit (included in the Road Warrior Bundle). Do not use solvents, bleach, or high-pressure washes directly on the cover.
Can I leave the cover on in storage?+
No. FIT Protection relies on both magnetic bonding and dynamic pressure while in motion. For long-term storage, remove the cover and store it flat or rolled loosely. Re-attaching at your next trip takes under a minute.
