Installation

Our magnetic windshield protection system is designed for quick and easy installation. Below you’ll find a brief step-by-step guide. For more detailed instructions, please check out our full video tutorials here.

Step 1

Clean & Position the Cover (Outside)

Wipe down the glass for best adhesion. With the logo facing outward, hold the cover against the glass. Keep the red protective film on the tape for now — this step is just for alignment.

⚠︎ Note: This is easier with two people. If working solo, use tape to temporarily hold the cover in place.

Step 2

Attach the Magnets (Inside)

From inside the vehicle, locate the glow-in-the-dark stickers on the cover.Align the second set of magnets with the stickers to lock the cover against the glass.

⚠︎ Note: Magnets have a 210-lb pull strength. Use the provided rings to slide them apart safely.

Step 3

Fine-Tune the Fit (Outside)

Return outside and make small adjustments to ensure the cover fully overlaps the glass edges. The fit may not curve perfectly at first - over time, driving wind pressure will help it settle flush.

Step 4

Secure the Cover Permanently

Once aligned, go inside and peel the red protective film from the double-sided tape.

Press firmly, magnet by magnet, until all are secured.

Step 5

Final Check & Road - Ready

Your Fit Protection cover is now fully installed and ready to keep your glass protected wherever you go.

⚠︎ Note: On your first few drives, the wind will naturally push the cover snugly into place.

Recent Purchase and road trip test

There were supply issues which delayed the delivery of the cover. But I received it a week before a 1200 mile round trip to Sturgis and back.
The cover stayed in placed with no issues. Protected the window as promised and a huge side benefit it insulated the rv from very hot temps!
Im very happy and would recommend the FIT cover.

Worth the wait

Over all we got our Cover for our XLR Nitro a few weeks ago, its been on a 250 mile road trip without issues, and was very easy to install if you have two people. I the magnets were not black which I saw varied reports of but don't seem to be to obtrusive. It took over a month to get my cover but I did receive it by the time I needed. I have heard from others that the company has some growing pains, Overall I think its a great product you just need to plan ahead.
